HOTEL DIAMOND PLAZA’S POLICY


1. Check in at 12pm & Check out at 11am
2. Occupancy Policy
a. A maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids (up to 8 years of age) can stay in a room
b. This might differ for some rooms with lower or higher occupancy potential

3. Child policy - Maximum of 2 kids up to 8 years old are allowed free of cost. Breakfast will be provided. But no extra bed will be provided

4. Extra bed - Extra adult occupying the same room as 2 other adults will be charged at the rate specified at the time booking

5. Pet policy - No pets are allowed inside the hotel premises

6. Early check-in
a. Between 7am to 12pm can be allowed at no extra cost but will be subject to availability
b. Check-in for guests arriving before 7 am will be charged the full previous day's rate

7. Late check out a. Late check-out till 1 pm can be accommodated at no extra cost subject to availability b. Check-out after 1 pm to 6 pm will be charged at the half day’s rate and beyond 6 pm will be charged at full next day's rate.

8. Early check out
a. No discount will be allowed in case a guest checks-out earlier than the scheduled check-out time of 11am. Once checked-in, full day's tariff will be applicable
b. Charges equivalent to 1 night’s stay (including taxes) will be charged in case a guest decides to check out before the departure date

9. Cancellation policy –
a. No charges will be levied for any cancellation done at least 24 hours prior to check-in time
b. Charges equivalent to 1 night’s stay (including taxes), if a booking is cancelled within 24 hours prior to check-in time.

10. No show policy - Charges equivalent to 1 night’s stay (including taxes) will be levied in the case of a no-show for a prepaid booking

11. Amendment policy – Any amendment will be considered as cancellation of the old booking/ reservation and creation of a new booking/reservation for the Accommodation(s). Treebo/ the Hotel shall accommodate the amendments subject to availability. It is hereby clarified that, Cancellation Policy and the cancellation charges as stated above will apply depending upon the date of request for the amendment for the booking/reservation already made.

12. Bulk booking
a. Any booking for the Accommodation(s) made by the guest(s) for 10 or more room nights (number of rooms * nights of stay) or if the total booking amount is INR 20,000 (Indian Rupees Twenty Thousand) or more will be considered as a bulk booking
b. To confirm a bulk booking, the guest(s) will need to pay 50% of the total booking amount (including taxes) in advance at the time of booking or at least 72 hours prior to check-in date
c. Cancellation fee equivalent to the advance amount will be charged in the case of cancellation within 72 hours of check-in date
d.

13. Hotel Stay/Entry restrictions
a. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel.
b. The identification proofs accepted are Driver’s License, Aadhar card, Voters Card, or Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.
c. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
d. As per government regulation any non-resident guests accompanying a resident guest to his/her room must furnish their government approved photo ID proof.
e. Guests residing in Kolkata or its periphery within 50 km will not be allowed entry to stay. Prepaid customers will not be refunded. If guests insist, we will permit them to stay if they provide us written consent from local police station.
f. Non-resident guest are not allowed to stay beyond 10pm in a resident guest's room else he/she must get registered as an extra occupant in the room.
g. The hotel reserves the right of admission for local residents and unmarried, unrelated couples.
h. Customers agree and undertake to use their room responsibly. Therefore, any conduct contrary to accepted standards of behaviour and public order will result in the hotelier asking the customer to leave the hotel with no compensation and/or refund if a payment has already been made. If no payment has been made, the customer will have to pay the price of nights already stayed before leaving the hotel.

14. Missing reservation - In case of valid missing reservation, hotel will provide an alternate accommodation of same category at no extra cost to the guest. Guest must provide proof of booking confirmation.
